What to Expect
You Were Made to Be Comforted
A crisis has a way of scrambling everything at once. Your thoughts race, sleep disappears, and the future you had pictured seems to vanish overnight. Whether you are facing a loss, a diagnosis, a marriage in trouble, or a sudden change you never saw coming, Ann offers a calm, compassionate place to catch your breath and begin to heal.
The name Crisis to Comfort comes straight from 2 Corinthians 1. Ann's work is not theoretical. Having walked through grief, divorce, financial hardship, and medical challenges herself, she meets you with real understanding, helps you take anxious thoughts captive, and points you toward the steady comfort of God in the middle of the storm.
"Who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble." — 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Common Questions
About Crisis Counseling
What is Christian crisis counseling?
It is faith-centered coaching support for people walking through a painful or destabilizing season, such as a loss, a hard diagnosis, a marriage in trouble, or a sudden change. Ann helps you steady your thoughts, process what is happening, and take the next right step, anchored in Scripture and practical coaching tools.
Is this emergency crisis intervention?
No. Ann provides ongoing coaching support, not emergency services. If you or someone you love is in immediate danger or thinking about suicide, call or text 988 (the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) or dial 911 right away. Ann is here for the longer work of healing that comes after the immediate danger has passed.
Can we meet online, or do I need to be near Coeur d'Alene?
Both. Ann meets clients in person in Coeur d'Alene and the surrounding North Idaho and Spokane area, and by secure telehealth across all 50 states and internationally. Because she works as a coach, there are no state lines limiting who she can help.
What kinds of crises does Ann help with?
Grief and loss, a difficult diagnosis, divorce or separation, family estrangement, financial hardship, a crisis of faith, or the disorienting weight of several of these hitting at once. Ann has walked through many of these seasons herself.
How much does crisis counseling cost?
Sessions are $120 for 50 minutes. Superbills are available, and some clients are reimbursed up to 100 percent. The free 30-minute consultation is a no-pressure way to begin.
