Does Crisis to Comfort Accept Health Insurance?

Crisis to Comfort's image

At Crisis to Comfort, I am committed to providing high-quality care and services to all of my clients. Please note the following regarding insurance:

Crisis to Comfort DOES NOT currently accept insurance for payment of services. My services are billed directly to the client, and payment is due at the beginning of each appointment.

My sessions are $120 per session. Sessions are 50 minutes long.

BUT... WAIT! There MAY be hope that you can receive partial or full "REIMBURSEMENT" for your session fees through what the industry calls a "SUPERBILL".

Many individuals do not know this but they may have out-of-network benefits available to them through their health insurance. If your insurance company covers out-of-network mental health fees, I would be happy to assist you with receiving reimbursement from your insurance provider. It is very easy to do and many clients who have health insurance qualify.

Read more about Superbills below.

What is a Superbill?

A "SUPERBILL" is...

"a detailed receipt from a healthcare provider that you can use to request reimbursement from your insurance company, especially when the provider is out-of-network".

What a Superbill includes...

-Patient’s name and date of birth
-Provider’s name, address, and NPI
-Dates of service
-Diagnosis codes (ICD-10)
-Billing Codes
-Amount charged and amount paid

How the Superbill is used...

-You make payment to your counselor.
-Your counselor gives you a Superbill.
-You submit the Superbill to your insurance company.

Important to know...

-A Superbill does not guarantee reimbursement.
-Coverage depends on your insurance plan, deductibles, and out-of-network benefits.
-You are responsible for submitting it.

"Call the customer service number on your insurance card and ask them if they will reimburse you for out-of network mental health costs through Superbills."
