Crisis to Comfort ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our websites at crisis2comfort.com and crisistocomfortchristiancoaching.com (collectively, the "Site"), how we use it, and your choices.
This policy applies to information collected through the Site only. Health information you share during counseling sessions, intake forms, or scheduling through our practice management system is governed by our separate Notice of Privacy Practices and federal HIPAA regulations.
Information you provide directly. When you contact us by email, phone, or by clicking links to our scheduling system, we receive whatever information you choose to share, including your name, email address, phone number, and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically through analytics. We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to understand how visitors find and use the Site. Umami collects basic, anonymized information such as the pages you view, the website you came from, your approximate country, and your device type and browser. Umami does not use cookies, does not collect or store personal data, does not track you across websites, and does not share data with third parties.

We retain email correspondence and contact form submissions only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and to meet our professional, legal, and recordkeeping obligations. Analytics data collected through Umami is aggregated and anonymized and is retained according to Umami's standard retention practices. Health information collected through Carepatron is retained in accordance with applicable healthcare recordkeeping laws and is addressed in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
This Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site. Counseling services for minors are arranged directly with a parent or legal guardian.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of information we hold about you. Residents of California, Washington, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and certain other states have specific rights under their state privacy laws.
